Caribbean Summary: Nevis, cool sea mounts which are hot to the touch. Guadeloupe…..hmmm, not so much. St. Barts….ooh la la….diving ok, nothing exciting. St. Maarten/St. Marten….again, ok, not a true dive destination. St. Croix….the biggest of the US Virgin Islands and less crowded or built up like St. Thomas….very nice diving and you can dive where Columbus threw his hook…pretty cool. Anguilla has very pretty diving…enjoyed it. I hired a private, small boat charter for a friend and myself so we had the boat and a DM all to ourselves. Barbados has some lovely diving…nothing exciting but enjoyable. The island itself is large and interesting with lots to do. Antigua has some great diving. Really enjoyed the Pillars of Hercules which sits below the cliff where Eric Clapton has his Crossroads Center for people in recovery.
